INTEGRATIVE PSYCHIATRY for CHILDREN, TEENS, and ADULTS

Dr. Catherine Stayer is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist specializing in mental health and well-being for children, teens, adults, couples and families. She offers an integrative approach to psychiatry which includes psychopharmacology and psychotherapy as well as complementary modalities (i.e., nutritional support, botanicals, nutraceuticals).

What is Integrative Psychiatry?

A healing-oriented approach to mental health, wellbeing and resilience
that incorporates the many aspects of an individual - body, mind, and spirit,

within the context of environment and lifestyle. It applies both conventional

and alternative therapies tailored to the specific needs of the individual.

Principles of the Practice:

·        Build a collaborative partnership that underscores our innate capacity to heal

·        Treat not merely symptoms but rather prevent illness and optimize well-being

·       Create a plan that incorporates mind, body, spirit, environment, lifestyle, etc.

·       Apply the least invasive, most natural, optimally effective interventions possible
